Clubbing
If a guy likes to spend most of his weekends in the club, he will probably limit his dating prospects quite a bit. Most women over the age of 25 would probably see this as unappealing, as it can sometimes signify an unwillingness to grow up and be committed in a relationship.
Video gaming
Obviously, many men enjoy video gaming in their down time and it's not a problem for their partners. The real issue for most women is when it is done to an excessive degree, so much so that quality time together, household chores, and even work are all neglected.
Collecting Funko Pops
Funko Pops are vinyl figures that represent characters from a huge range of TV shows, movies, video games, etc. Collecting them has become a popular hobby for people of all ages, but many women view this as an unappealing hobby in a grown man, as they deem it too childish and may also find the space taken up by the collection impractical.
Crypto
While there are of course many women are who are into crypto, there are also plenty who see it as an unattractive hobby. Many women might associate crypto enthusiasts with negative stereotypes, such as being overly focused on money, a lack of interest in stability, and wanting to talk about crypto at every given opportunity.

Social media
Most of us can probably admit that we spend a fair amount of time on social media nowadays. However, if a guy scrolls to an excessive degree, or constantly posts Instagram selfies, TikTok dances, or pranks to his timeline, it can quickly become off-putting to potential dates.
Watching TV

Golf may seem like a pretty innocuous pastime, but some women actually find it off-putting in a potential partner. This is because there is a stereotype of men who take up golf becoming obsessive about it, and it can also be a time consuming and expensive hobby.
Trading card games
Having an interest in trading card games like Magic: The Gathering or Pokémon is pretty harmless, but unfortunately that doesn't mean it is attractive to women. Indeed, many view it as a juvenile or nerdy pastime, particularly if it takes a lot of time, money, or social energy.

Fantasy football may seem like a rather inoffensive hobby for a guy to have, but it can be unattractive to potential partners. This is primarily because it can often become all-consuming for a man, leading to excessive time spent analyzing stats, making trades, and following games.
Drumming
There may be an assumption that all women would dream of dating a guy in a band, but a man who has drumming as a hobby may actually be a bit of a turn off. Some women may see it as too noisy, taking up too much space, or even part of the "band guy" stereotype - someone who might prioritize music and gigs over responsibilities or stability.

While there are obviously some women who would love to date a DJ, others would be instantly turned off by the lifestyle and stereotypes associated with it. They may worry about the late nights and travel involved, as well as the possibility of being surrounded by other women.
None
As unattractive as the hobbies listed so far are to many women, not having any hobbies at all can be just as much of a turn off. Having no interests or passions can signal a lack of ambition, curiosity, or individuality, which are qualities many people find important in a partner.
Fishing
This is another one that can divide opinions quite a lot. However, for women who see fishing as an unattractive hobby, their concerns often center around the time, patience, and solitude the activity requires, as well as the idea of killing fish if they have a plant-based diet.

Self-help gurus
While there is obviously nothing inherently wrong with wanting to improve yourself and taking an interest in personal growth, some women may find the obsession with self-help gurus such as Tony Robbins off-putting, as it can come across as superficial or relying too heavily on external sources for guidance.
Cosplay
For those not in the know, cosplay involves dressing up as characters from movies, TV shows, comic books, or video games. This is a pretty popular hobby among both men and women nowadays, but some women may see it as a turn off in a man, as it points to a love of fantasy worlds that may be seen as childish or eccentric.
Collecting knives or other weapons
Most women would probably agree that if they went to a man's house and the walls or shelves were covered in knives, guns, or other weapons, they would find it at least a little disconcerting. This hobby can come across as intimidating or even alarming, as it may raise concerns about safety or the person’s mindset.
Taxidermy
Many women would see taxidermy as a much less than appealing hobby in a guy. They may balk at the idea of potentially being surrounded by dead animals, and may even view guys who partake in it as creepy, weird, morbid, or perhaps overly fixated on death.
Extreme conspiracy theories
While many of us find researching and discussing the occasional conspiracy theory interesting and fun, having it as a regular hobby can be a bit much for some women. They may view the guy as being overly suspicious, lacking critical thinking, or even being somewhat detached from reality.
Drinking
While many of us enjoy a night out or glass of wine at home now and again, some men (and women!) do it to the extent where they consider it a hobby. Perhaps understandably, many women have a strong "ick" about this, be it for financial, health, or social reasons.
Hunting
This one will obviously vary from person to person - many women who have been brought up in families who hunt will see this hobby as no big deal. For others, the desire to hunt and kill animals, especially if it is for fun rather than food, is strange and cruel.
Trolling online
Most women would probably agree that a man who chooses to spend his time trying to annoy random people online isn't exactly a catch. Trolling is usually far from attractive, as it suggests a provocative and even cruel personality and a general lack of empathy for others.
Anime
Anime is a style of animation that originated in Japan. Although it has become extremely popular all around the world, some people view it as childish and unattractive, largely due to the stereotypes about overly obsessive fans who turn the hobby into their whole personality.
Vaping
Of course, many women probably wouldn't have an issue with vaping if it is more of an occasional habit. However, if a guy is so fixated on vaping that it becomes a defining part of his personality, it’s likely to become a turn-off for many women, who may see it as immature.
Gambling
This one is probably one of the most unanimously unattractive hobbies a man can have, mainly because of the negative connotations and risks associated with it. A gambling hobby can lead to financial instability, addiction, and strained relationships - not something most women would want to risk.
Sound healing
While hobbies like sound healing are becoming more mainstream and accepted nowadays, there is still a bit of a stigma attached to them. For example, women may view these types of hobbies as being too feminine, lacking in real scientific backing, or just a bit too "hippyish".
Debating
Whether it's in online forums, on social media or in specifically organized settings like debate clubs or competitions, some women view debating as an unattractive hobby. This is because they may see it as rather geeky and assume that the guy is generally argumentative or a know-it-all in all aspects of his life.
Doing make up
With an increasing number of brands offering cosmetic products for men, some guys are becoming more interested in using makeup to express themselves, even if it is just painting their nails. To some women, however, this is a turn off, as they view it as too feminine.
Obsessive sports fan-ism
Most women would have no problem dating someone who enjoys watching sports and supporting their team(s), but it is when it becomes an obsession that they may have a problem with it. If a guy organizes his schedule around games and gets irrationally upset when his team loses, most women would find it too much.
Adult content
While it's true that many men consume adult content now and then, if it is regular enough to be deemed a hobby then it is probably too much to most women. It may seem harmless, but it can often lead to unrealistic expectations, performance problems, and a view of women as sexual objects.
Smoking pot
While many women would be fine with this hobby, plenty others would see it as a big no no. For one thing there is the cost of maintaining a supply, then there is the smell, which often lingers in clothes and hair, and the potential side effects like paranoia and lack of motivation.
Dating
Some men love the thrill of the chase when it comes to pursuing different women, as well as having their ego stroked by the attention they receive from them. Because of this, some date like it is a hobby, constantly seeking new romantic encounters or flings without any real intention of committing.
Dog fighting
This one is probably an obvious turn off for most people. While watching animals maul and tear each other to pieces may be a good night out for some, the majority of women would see these types of hobbies as barbaric and therefore view men who enjoy them as lacking empathy.
Cigars
Collecting and smoking cigars may be the height of elegance to some, but for many women this hobby could actually be a dealbreaker. They may see it as pompous or too old fashioned, or just don't like the health risks and strong smell associated with it.
