Sihnuu, a Washington, D.C. native, has always had an affinity for creative expression. Since childhood, she has found enjoyment in the art of dance. As Sihnuu's passion for creative expression blossomed, she learned new forms of movement and was drawn to the practice of yoga after her first yoga class in 2007. When Sihnuu began to explore open dialogue with her body on the mat, she discovered she was receiving more than just a workout. Sihnuu's quest for spiritual ascension led her to a greater understanding of Universal truths, as it relates to the mind, body, and spirit. Fully committed to the practice, Sihnuu decided to take her journey to the next level and received her 200hr certification in Hatha yoga through Yoga District in the fall of 2011. Soon after, she received a second 200hr *training/certification, under Kemetic yoga master, Yirser Ra Hotep. Since training Sihnuu's ultimate goal has been to is to serve students by helping them to find the mind body balance and internal peace on the mat which can be practically integrated into their everyday lives. Her class delivers an invigorating yogic blend of prana, asana, centering techniques, and affirmations of power. She uses classic and modern styles of yoga to create customized sequences that serve students from all walks of life. She is inspired by the teachings of B.K.S Iyengar, Sri Pattabhi Jois,Thich Nhat Hạnh, Sri Dharma Mittra, and many more. Sihnuu seamlessly transitions from the yoga mat to expressing her creativity through dance, writing, cooking, and exploring various art forms. She enjoys traveling, learning new cultures, and meeting new people.
